Even a product that has been tried and tested for a number of years already can be improved even more. The engineers from KraussMaffei Berstorff have once again focused their attention on cost effectiveness in the development of what is now the fourth generation of strip winding systems for the manufacture of rubber rollers. A higher degree of automation and ever-increased coating precision ensure noticeable savings in personnel and material costs. Such high productivity levels result from the fine-tuned interoperability of state-of-theart rubber extruders, optimized feedrate and coating control, as well as from absolutely simple operation. The electronic control system constitutes a substantial success factor. With its data and process control, the machine operator can safely perform all coating tasks.
